People have come to the Mine Flat Ticket for thousands of years to worship, to relax and to gather with friends.

You can be a part of this ongoing story today. Your support will help care for this beautiful historic monument for everybody to enjoy. You will connect people to life and surprise them about culture. You will help create wonderful activities and events for children, young people and community groups.

FAQs

This depends on the projects we are supporting. Since 2015, this is an average of £119,000 per year. The Foundation is also registered for Gift Aid. This means we can reclaim 25p for every £1 on eligible donations from the UK Government. Income comes from grant applications, major gifts and donations from visitors.

Our chair is Fiona Pollard. You can read more about the trustees in the section below. There are up to 11 trustees and two appointed by the Council. The trustees are volunteers who do not receive a salary, but they can claim expenses. Heritage Services staff also work on the Foundation’s behalf. Overall, this means the overhead costs of running the Foundation are very low at less than 1%. This means we can make any donations you make have a greater impact.
